Abstract submission

General information and guidelines

All the participants of the Conference will have the opportunity to present their abstracts.

1. General information

An abstract of up to 1500 characters must be submitted only in English.

Abstract of original studies and case reports (case series) will be accepted. Abstracts of literature reviews will be accepted if  they present recent data related to a topic.

The authors should avoid abbreviations. Common abbreviations (mm, cm, kg, etc) may be used unexplained, while others — if used — should be explained. When mentioning drugs, their names should be in line with the international nomenclature.

Abstracts may only be submitted via the online panel for the Conference participants.

Submission of an abstract requires prior online registration of the participant (see: Registration).

The deadline for abstract submission is August 5, 2020.

The accepted oral presentations will be delivered online from the Authors' country of residence.

Abstracts sent by post, fax or email will not be accepted.

Each submitted abstract will be qualified for acceptance anonymously by independent reviewers.

The authors will be informed whether their submissions have been accepted or rejected by August 20, 2020.

The abstract will be accepted and published if at least one of the authors is a registered participant of the conference.

2. Topic categories for the abstracts

You should specify one topic category within which the submitted abstract falls:

  • Original studies
  • Case reports
  • Metaanalyses

3. Abstract layout

The abstract must include the following:

  1. Title (no abbreviations, IN CAPITAL LETTERS);
  2. First names and surnames of all the authors;
  3. Affiliation(s) – name(s) of the institution(s), city, country
  4. The body of the abstract of an original study should contain the principal details of the study: a brief introduction, the aim, methodology, results and conclusions.
    The abstract of a case report should contain: a brief introduction. case description and conclusions.
  5. The word count of the abstract should not exceed 1500 characters.
